Statistics on Women Racers in the Tour Divide
Including 2011, only 9 women have finished the Tour Divide and only 14 women have attempted it solo since 2008. Those percentages of starters to finishers are better then the men. Also, this is in no way a complete list and only list those who started with the "Grand Depart". For instance, Cricket Butler, started June 30th, 2011 as an ITT, Independent Time Trial.
Prior to 2008, there was the Great Divide Race which did not include the Canada section and was a little over 2000 miles. In 2008, the Tour Divide times were split with a GDMBR time and USA split time. Today, it's all about the Tour Divide.*

2009: **3 started, 2 finished. Jill Homer set the Female Course record with 24:07:24.
Deana Adams finished but was relegated and Cricket Butler scratched.
2010: 4 started, 1 finished. Cricket Butler was the Women's Winner 26:09:36
2011: 7 started, 5 finished. Caroline Soong was the Women's Winner 22:09:59. No Official Time has been posted yet. These times are taken from the "Spot Trackers" page on the TD website.
